Published Author: Hands-On Serverless Computing
Chowhan authored Hands-On Serverless Computing: Build, run and orchestrate serverless applications using AWS Lambda, Microsoft Azure Functions, and Google Cloud Functions, published by Packt Publishing in July 2018. The book spans 350 pages across 15 chapters and is available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, O’Reilly, Apple Books, and Google Books.
The book covers the full serverless landscape across all three major cloud providers. Key topics include:
- Building event-driven applications with AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, and Google Cloud Functions
- Working with API Gateway, DynamoDB, AWS Step Functions, Azure Cosmos DB, and Google Cloud Storage
- Hands-on labs using Node.js, Visual Studio Code, and Postman
- Reference architectures for real-time file processing and serverless web applications
The companion code repository is open-source on GitHub under an MIT license. O’Reilly’s platform describes Chowhan as a seasoned cloud architect whose deep knowledge across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud enables him to guide developers through the intricacies of serverless computing with a clear, hands-on approach.
